Sonya has many years experience as a Social Worker, holding a variety of responsibilities such as frontline community work, management, teaching, training and therapy roles. She has worked alongside first responders and now has the privilege of providing clinical support over the past few years. Sonya is honoured to bring a unique specialty working with adults who have dedicated their life to others such veterans, military members, first responders and their families. Sonya is passionate about providing trauma-responsive support that offers a way forward to help people live a fulfilled and peaceful life.
Sonya will explore where you have been in life and where you want to go. Sonya strives to better understand your nervous system responses and how this shows up in the body and leads to thinking and actions.
Sonya brings authenticity, humour and acceptive to everyone coming into her office. We do this together and you are never alone in this journey.
Bob is Sonya's canine co-therapist, who is a gentle Bernedoodle.
