In our play therapy rooms, toys become words and stories become insights. Whether a child is navigating big feelings, difficult transitions, or simply needs support understanding themselves, play offers a developmentally appropriate way to build skills and feel truly seen.
Play therapy looks different for every child. It can be messy, challenging, and fun. Sometimes it looks like jumping on a trampoline while talking about what’s happening at school. Other times it might be creating a world in the sand to express feelings, or practicing new skills through imaginative play with the therapist.
Our team are registered members of the Canadian Association for Play Therapy and are all on their journey to becoming Certified Play Therapists. Our therapists are trained to follow the child's lead, create emotional safety and help kids discover new ways to cope, connect and communicate.
We offer creative therapeutic approaches to help navigate the tough stuff in childhood, parenting and adulting. Family Tree Therapy is a place where you can connect, imagine and belong.
