Amanda blends the wisdom of psychodynamic therapy with a solid understanding of child development. She started her career in Early Childhood Education, giving her deep insight into child development, play, and the ways families grow and change together.
As an attachment-focused therapist, Amanda loves helping clients make sense of the stories and experiences that live beneath the surface. Amanda approaches all her work with sincerity, attunement, and a playful sense of humour.
Amanda is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) and is developing expertise in Play Therapy. Amanda builds relationship through authenticity and flexibility. She works with both children and couples. She specializes in talk therapy and incorporates somatic processing, play-based activities, CBT, DBT and other interventions. She helps kids and adults build a toolbox that supports wellness.
